The Punchestown Festival takes place at the end of April each year following on from Cheltenham Festival in the UK. Many of the runners who performed so well at the Cheltenham Festival will turn out for a final time in the year and each of them and and their owners and trainers will be looking to pick up some of the major prize money available. The main races are covered alog with odds, form and tips from our editorial team.
Galway Festival
Ireland Biggest and best Horse Racing festival which takes place in beautiful Galway in mid summer and what makes this festival so unique is that it is the only one both in Ireland and England that combines both National Hunt and Flat racing. It has great quality racing but much more with festivities in the city going on for a full week and we aim to bring a small feel for the Galway Races athmosphere which is very special.
Irish Grand National
As part of the Fairyhouse Easter Festival the Irish National takes place on Easter Monday. It has been sponsored by Powers Whiskey for what seems like ever and it is a celebration of the best staying chasers from the UK and Ireland.
